Dr. Lindquist works regularly with various governmental, NGO, and for-profit organizations related to emotions, well-being, and health.


Dr. Lindquist is the current President of the Society for Affective Science, a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing, innovating, and disseminating affective science, or scientific approaches to studying emotions, moods, attitudes and related phenomena. The society serves as the natural home for scientists in basic and applied areas, who engage in research on emotion.


Dr. Lindquist is an educational advisor at the Nest Foundation, which develops and implements K-12 curricula to foster violence prevention, healthy relationships, interpersonal connectedness, and well-being.


Dr. Lindquist is serves as an educational advisor for initiatives through the Joan Ganz Cooney Center, which seeks to advance children’s learning through digital media.
